These were the automake commits, I had announced earlier today:

It had consisted of ca. 50 individual commits comprising of > 1000 new 
files.

Are you referring to the empty rtems-vc commits?

Well, I had reported rtems-vc to be producing unreadable mails upon "git 
add" a couple of days ago:
