I think the WebKit project would be a decent direction to go in order
not to lose the work you already have put in to learning about
lwIP/RTEMS.  You can include the lwIP port, and work on developing the
Kit infrastructure for handling packages external to RTEMS. lwIP is a
good project for it. And there are other networking-related projects
that could be included in the WebKit.
