I think there are a few counter-examples and we should try to settle
on a proper convention. For example we have
_POSIX_Message_queue_Priority_from_core() but also
_CORE_message_queue_Seize().

In fact, I think the POSIX_signals is the only POSIX package that
adheres to the convention. I think that including the API in the
Package name is confusing, because there is no "POSIX" package, there
is a "POSIX" interface, and the same goes for "CORE". It would be more
consistent to prepend an API to the Package and Member, like what is
done with POSIX already (except the signals). Then we should also drop
_CORE from the handful of packages in score that use it. This makes
the supercore interface "silent" so to speak. My $0.02
