GCI Mentor Instructions

Hi

Google Code-In starts in two hours. At that point, students will be able to
claim tasks. If you have been signed up a while, you should have tasks
which have your name on them. This just makes you the primary. GCI
is a team effort. The tasks are generally things any RTEMS user could
do or guide a student in doing.

Please check in regularly at https://codein.withgoogle.com and look at
the "Tasks" page. They should be sortable by "Modified". With this view,
you can see which tasks have been touched recently. Unless just added
or modified by us, the most recently touched tasks could need mentor
attention.

In previous years, it was helpful to open every task since you had last
visited in a different tab and simply close them as you checked them.

This sounds more complicated than it really is. But the key is that there
will be a burst of tasks over the next two weeks. The pace should slow
after than based on previous years. But we have to be careful to ensure
that tasks are being responded to during the holidays.

It isn't too late to sign up. Help is always appreciated. This is a marathon
that starts with a sprint.
