GDB is managed by git and for GCC I would use the git mirror.

No patches, just the latest versions, so GCC 6.0.

The test runners are in "sim-scripts" make sure a "realview_pbx_a9_qemu 
-i ticker.exe" produces the expected output.

I don't remember. I set this up several months ago and now it just works.
