[PATCH 00/15] Clean Up Patch Series

This is a patch series to clean up various warnings, test
failures, and typos. 

There should be no dependencies between the individual patches.
In fact, I have been holding some of them for well over a month.

If you see something wrong, pipe up. Otherwise, I will commit
them in a couple of days.
