I still think its worth to rename this configuration option. I would 
like to move it (CONFIGURE_MAXIMUM_PROCESSORS) to

and delete

https://docs.rtems.org/branches/master/c-user/configuring_a_system.html#smp-specific-configuration-parameters

which is then empty.
