I emailed those parties BCC and CC'ed you. If there are others, feel free to
ask me to do the same.

No huge secret but Jiri was the ESA contract sponsor for the original erc32
port. Based on assuming he gave us some code to use, I would say 1994.
Based on the git log's, I would say 1996.
