The dhcpcd function to execute the scripts is

static int exec_script(char *const *argv, char *const *env)

which uses posix_spawn(). The argv is just

char *const argv[2] = { UNCONST(ifp->options->script), NULL };

Information is passed to the scripts via the environment.

This doesn't map well to the argc/argv style used elsewhere. What would 
you do here?
