[GSOC] CTF generator configuration files

Hello!

I am in the process of writing a CTF generator configuration file. This
will be used in converting trace data into Common Trace Format. I am
following the flow of events as described in [1] for the conversion
process. Have there been previous attempts to create CTF generator
configuration? Is there any change to the CTF conversion process? The wiki
page I am referring to for this purpose was last updated in 2016 hence I
needed to ask this. I have followed the documentation provided in [2] and
[3] to understand how configuration files are written and function. Have I
left any relevant documentation which could help in this process?
