Booting issue with rv64imafd_medany on hardware

Hi All,

I am testing my custom RISC-V rv64imafd_medany BSP on hardware. I have
created a launch configuration for Eclipse-based IDE with a simple hello
world application .elf file. After launching the application the control is
stuck at 0x80000000 address which is the start address and the instruction
at that address is
* LADDR gp, __global_pointer$ in start.S file*.

The start file is untouched from the bsps/riscv/riscv directory.

There are no messages on the terminal but the IDE console throws some
errors:

RTOS: failed to get register list
Error: Failed to read priv register.

If anyone could tell me how to resolve this or even the reason for the
issue it will be really helpful.
