Right.

Do "env | grep LIB" or simply env.  Look for environment variables set
to
point at Windows tools that have common names.

Also /bin/gcc.exe should be linked to /bin/cc.exe.

ALl of this should only be needed if you are editting Makefile.ams or
configure.in's.
