anyone seen this Perl rpm problem...?

When unpacking the perl 5.6.0-cygwin1.1.rpm from the Cygwin RPM site into my cyg 1.1.4 w2k system I get an "unpacking archive failed: cpio: Bad magic" error and rpm --checksig returns "MD5 NOT OK" (no surprise); I downloaded the module several times with same outcome. Emailing Cygwin has engendered no response & I'm stuck implementing rtems w/o it. Does anyone know the location of a known-good perl RPM?
