Rtems in Flash and Application in RAM

Hello,

I'm looking for info how to move rtems to Flash memory and application
code in RAM (because of debugging). I assume this is possible, the question is
how and how big is the effort.

I think there are two points:
- separate application and rtems in different memory areas (segments?)
- have a stub library for the linker that knows about the rtems
addresses...

Any info, experience out there? Papers from GNU covering this?
