GNAT/RTEMS w/GNAT 3.12

I am attempting to build GNAT/RTEMS on RedHat 6.1.

I am using:
  gcc-2.8.1
  gnat-3.12p
  binutils-2.9.1
  newlib-1.8.0

Patches for gcc-2.8.1 are included with both GNAT and RTEMS distributions.

Should I:
  a) Apply the patches from the GNAT distribution only.
  b) Apply the patches from the GNAT distribution followed by the patches
from the RTEMS distribution.
  c) Apply the patches from the RTEMS distribution only.
  d) Bag it and wait for a new release of RTEMS that is just around the
corner.
  e) Drop back to an earlier version of GNAT.

Any suggestions are appreciated.
