problem building cross compiler for RTEMS while fixing header files

The simplest answer is to look at the binaries available 
in ftp.oarcorp.com:/pub/rtems/betas and upgrade to the
latest RTEMS.

There are RPMs and Debian packages.  But doesn't Slackware
use .tgz?
