GDB for Powerpc build problems

Hi 

This might not be the correct mailing-lists to send this to. But it is the
lists I am subscribed to, so ....

When I try to build gdb for powerpc, I get this error:

I does not make any difference, whether I use the gdb-4.18 sources or the
recent insight sources.

The gcc I am using is: gcc version 2.95.2 19991024 (release) for
hppa1.1-hp-hpux10.20

Configure command is: 
  ../insight-20000204/configure --prefix=/export/ecos/recent-tools
--target=powerpc-eabi

Can anybody tell me, how to get tid of the problem?
