ratemonotonic & semaphore use

hello 

I use semaphore and rate monotonic function.

I make application program. 

task 1:
while(1)
{
    if(rate_monotonic_period(period, rmid) == RTEMS_TIMEOUT)
    {
        break;
    }
   rtems_semaphore_obtain(semaphore1);
   do critical section
 rtems_semaphore_release(semaphore1);
   do anything
}

task2:

while(1)
{
    if(rate_monotonic_period(period, rmid) == RTEMS_TIMEOUT)
    {
        break;
    }
   rtems_semaphore_obtain(semaphore1);
   do critical section
  rtems_semaphore_release(semaphore1);
   do anything
}

Is this correct..?
