plex86 (bochs replacement) question

I looked at plex86 as an alternative to VMWare, but it is so
early in its development that it didn't look very usable.
I was able to boot RTEMS in a VMWare virtual machine about a
year ago. (back when I was asking questions about grub)
Consider using VMWare. (www.vmware.com) It's cheap.
You can download the full version to use for 30 days. It
installs in seconds and works great. It is, however, tuned
in certain ways for certain operating systems. I'm not exactly
sure what they tune, but it makes a performance difference.
Alternatively, if you want to send me a floppy image of
a pc386 booter, I'd be happy to load it up and give you feedback
on how well it performs. I use VMWare daily now...
