TCP/IP : reduce code size

hello,

How to reduce the code size ( application /libnetworking/pppd/example) to be holded into ROM 256Ko ?
I now use flag -Os, but is not sufficient.
I have need of minimum : TCP/IP and PPP, other protocols can be omit.

Any ideas could be appreciated.
