It was likely with RTEMS 4.0 or a pre-elf version of the pc386 BSP.  I 
don't recall the
precise version of gnat.  But it was definitely gcc 2.8.1.

Until the merger of gnat into the main gcc CVS repository, getting a 
usable gnat/rtems
will probably be painful.
