There is a README in the pc386 source directory which is probably the
best to start from.  Make sure that is up to date generically and
we can add something if needed.  I wouldn't mind a README.DIMMPC
or README.PC104 (hint to others) that  helped others.  

Instructions on configuring without a video card, etc would be
nice.
