Writing to serial port on erc32

Hi

I'm trying to write and read from the serial port in an RTEMS application on
an erc32.

In my IMFS I have two files /dev/console and /dev/console_b.
I'm supposed to be able to use them but don't know how to do it.

Can anyone give me some hints
