I never worked with the powerpc simulator under RTEMS, but I
would guess it only works properly if you use the PSIM BSP.
This is a special BSP interacting with the powerpc simulator
package.
According to your output, you tried to run an RTEMS system for
a real hardware card (dmv177 or eth_comm), and the hardware
accesses to I/O interfaces will not be handled properly in the
PSIM simulator.
So, if the PSUIM bsp has not yet been built on your machine,
you should rebuild it and then start something like:
psim ./rtems-obj-20020301/powerpc-
rtems/c/psim/tests/samples/hello/o-optimize/hello.exe
(I would say the ".nxe" files are without symbol information,
so you can't use them for debugging).
Bye,
Thomas.
