powerpc-rtems-gcc compiling problem

If you updated cygwin, then you updated the native gcc to match the
cygwin version.  What powerpc-rtems gcc version is this?

Also I vaguely recall that something like this can occur when
a filesystem is not mounted in binary mode.

A big help in debugging problems like this is to add a -v to the
powerpc-rtems-gcc command line and watching what it invokes.
