>From a mips standpoint, I think a fancier interrupt/exception model is
a great idea.  My concern is only that whatever the implementation
ends up being, that we can somehow arrange to pass a frame pointer to
interrupt and exception vectors (perhaps this will be a mips-specific
extension).  I'll certainly be glad to help out where I can.
