HELP: zcat gcc-3.2.2-rtems-20030326.diff

Hi all...

I am trying to install rtems in my madrake 9.1 (linux) box...
I am following the paper "getting started with RTEMS for C/C++ users" and I am in the page 15.

I already downloaded and extracting the needed files and now I am applying rtems patches:

When 
I run the following comand from the /home/ncosta/tools:

zcat /home/ncosta/archives/gcc-3.2.2-rtems-20030326.diff | \ patch -p1 I see an error message saying:

The specified diff file is not of gzip format.

I downloaded the file from the ftp.rtems.com/pub/... site...
I am running this command as root...

What is wrong?
