Code sizes

I've just started to use RTEMS and everything works fine, except the size of 
the text segment. With the following configuration and compilation settings 
I receives a text segment of 93k bytes, I find this a bit to big for me, can 
anyone give me some hint how I should configure it? Hint: I want to use 
POSIX.

>configure --prefix=/opt/rtems --target=sparc-rtems --disable-itron 
>--disable-tests --disable-networking

>sparc-rtems-gcc  -g -rtems -tsc691 hello.c -o hello
