I don't know about SMP support in Cygwin and WIN (I don't know if WIN2k
supports SMP at all). At least with Linux, SMP is more or less
equivalent to HyperThreading.

Can you try to run your system as a UP-system?

Yes, ... better than nothing ;)

I'd be interested in a comparison between an installation that fails to
build RTEMS and to an installation that does not seem to fail
(Reportedly Steve H.'s).
