Need help installing a simulator - BSVC

Does anybody have experience with this? I tried the bsvc mailing list for 
the following errors when compiling without success:

We tried making using gcc 3.2 - compilation failure, which is understandable 
considering the C++ ABI changes in the 3.* series, so this is not a 
priority.

We then tried the recommended 2.7.2.3 version, but that also failed with the 
error included below. We finally tried 2.8 and that failed with the same 
error.

Suggestions?

Does anyone have a binary for RH8?
