Can we run RTEMS under AT91SAM7S256?

Hi,
I just read this:
Atmel ships $3-$4 SoCs. But will they run Linux?

Because of RAM's issue, Linux can't run(or almost can't run).
Does RTEMS can do that?
I run RTEMS on my AT91RM9200 board, the binary is about 128k.
Still a little big,but I add network and some other features.

The above url said ECOS can do that,I know little about ECOS
but I think maybe RTEMS can do this too.

I think in some places this chip is very suitable.
