ATM, rtems-cvs requires automake >= 1.9 with the patch attached to PR 546 applied.

I am using automake-1.9.5 + the patch.

A successor of the patch attached to PR546 is part of automake-cvs
trunk, the cvs branch automake-1.10 once shall be released from.

Don't be fooled by the name of the patch - It had been cut when
automake-1.8.1 was current, but it still applies and meanwhile is
required by many Makefiles in RTEMS.

[automake uses a similar branching scheme as GCC:
There exists a 1_9-branch from which current bug-fix releases are cut,
while trunk contains development versions.]
