That would be great to get Peter involved.  He's been an invaluable 
resource for the 68K/Coldfire tool chain.
Peter submitted a gcc bug report for me that resulted in ICE as well, 
that has not been assigned to anyone.  I don't know if it's related to 
the RTEMS ICE issues or not.  The link is:

It would be nice to get as many of these cleaned up as possible.  I'd 
love to help, but don't know enough about the inner workings of gcc to 
be effective.
