What file are you writing to the board? Is it in the right format for your
bootloader? Some bootloaders will deal with ELF files others won't and you need
a binary image. You haven't provided enough information to help you figure this out.

You write that you're using the bare BSP. The bare BSP is just a starting point
so you can write the "real" BSP outside the RTEMS source tree. Did you do that?
