I have both i386 and PPC binaries installed on my machine.
The PPC and native tools are:

rtems-4.7-autoconf-rtems-2.59-4
rtems-4.7-automake-rtems-1.9.6-0

rtems-4.7-rtems4.7-base-gcc-gcc4.0.1newlib1.13.0-4
rtems-4.7-rtems4.7-base-binutils-2.16.1-3
rtems-4.7-powerpc-rtems4.7-c++-gcc4.0.1newlib1.13.0-4
rtems-4.7-powerpc-rtems4.7-gcc-gcc4.0.1newlib1.13.0-4
rtems-4.7-powerpc-rtems4.7-binutils-2.16.1-3

Those were pulled down pre-built from ftp.rtems.com, I did not rebuild any
of the tools.

Likely, although changes should be minimal. System clock frequency and
memory configuration would be the most likely, and it looks like gen405 is
already close to what I have in mind.

I was just listening in on the periphery when the old exception/new
exception discussions were occuring on the mailing list. Is there a
concise summary somewhere detailing the changes needed to move from old
exception model to new exceptions?
