How to mount a FAT Drive to the root dir

Hi,

AFAIK this is not possible, sorry. The root FS is needed to create the
device nodes, and FAT only works when a (block) device is properly
available, so (apart from other source structure problems) you would run
into a hen-and-egg problem.
