Building RTEMS for a host?

I have experience on building RTEMS for i386 BSP, and then run it on QEMU 
virtual machine, and also run it on a pc486 hardware.
On pc486 hardware I used grub to power on machine and choose which 
operation to use - normal opration or use RTEMS exe file as boot file to 
start RTEMS OS.

With this method I have test RTEMS samples of hello_world, file_io, webdemo 
and http demo.
