Are there any other PRs which have been overlooked like this one?

Do you have the 4.6 branch checked out?  Just for posterity's sake,
I would like to get this PR closed on that branch.  I don't know whether
or not there will be another 4.6 release but it would be better if this
were fixed on the branch.
