RTEMS programming issues

Hi,

   I am doing work on rate monotonic scheduling,i have to scheduale 5 periodic tasks.I am using rate monotonic directives but there are some problems and i am stuck with it.
   -   the issues regarding programing were to understand rate monotonic directives.
     - whether to use rtems_rate_monotonic_cancel directive in every program or not.
     - nanosecond/ticks option problem to select.
     - get_status is creating problem,kindly try to take status more than one time in loop , error occured "unexpected trap at --- memory address"
     - get_statistics is also creating problem ,run time error,

Can any one post a example for me to so that i can run it to understand the directives usage or any schedualing example other than that described in  c user manual of rtems.
