at first, thanks for the fast response....

Hmmm, looking at my debian I see the following:

> ldd /opt/rtems-4.9/libexec/gcc/arm-rtems4.9/4.3.2/cc1
        linux-gate.so.1 =>  (0xb7769000)
        libgmp.so.3 => /usr/lib/libgmp.so.3 (0xb76e8000)
        libc.so.6 => /lib/i686/cmov/libc.so.6 (0xb75a1000)
        /lib/ld-linux.so.2 (0xb776a000)

/usr/lib/libgmp.so.3

which seems in principle o.k. ... ???


However, meanwhile I've build the toolchain from the sources in http://www.rtems.org/ftp/pub/rtems/SOURCES/4.9/ and it works so far.
