Implement RTEMS for Altera NIOS2 processor

Are there currently problems with Nios II and RTEMS itself, other than the old bin utils (ar tool), which are easily fixed as shown in posts earlier.
I'm using RTEMS sources from July 2009 with Nios II and it builds with no problems once two files (wrapup Makefiles) are fixed to meet the older Altera tools.

The port is obviously not included in the release branches, but It would be a shame to pull the plug on the Nios II port alltogether, since it works.

IMNSHO, it's time to pull the plug from the RTEMS nios2 port.

It's a pity for its users and a shame in general, but I feel we have
been patient long enough.

We have demonstrated our good-willingness by keeping the nios2 port
inside of the RTEMS source tree and invested time into keeping it alive.
However everything has to come to an end under circumstances like these.
