Access my local files using RTEMS

I was wondering whether there is some way through
which I could access my local files using RTEMS,
running on qemu ?

I tried running the fileio test in samples using the pc386
test script, but my local files do not seem to be affected.
I changed the config from IMFS to RFS, by the way,
before running the test.
