"lost network connection" from rtems_bsdnet_do_dhcp_failsafe()

I'm using rtems_bsdnet_do_dhcp_failsafe() and getting the "lost network connection" message every 30 seconds.   I'm not losing the network connection, though, it's fine.  Looking at the code makes me think the interface flags are messed up (I'm using SMC91111), or something is wrong with the code that is checking the connection.

I just want to hear that others are using this without any problem.
