Many projects will disagree with you.

The traditional arguments against bugzilla (floating around ever since 
bugzilla exists):
- It requires a log-in. Many users refuse to get one.
- It means additional bureaucracy / overhead.
- It means having http:-access
- It's ui and usabilty leaves much to be desired.
- Less eyes to review patches.
- Lists are more reliable than bugzilla.
...

Some projects explicity demand posting patches to lists and only apply 
bugzilla for "bug reports".
