Networking with QEMU

Hi all,

I'm following the instructions at
http://rtems.org/wiki/index.php/QEMU#Running_RTEMS_TCP.2FIP_Applications

When I start qemu with the given command-line, I get:

> isa irq 9 already assigned

In trying to isolate the problem, I realized that this has probably
nothing to do with RTEMS.

> $ qemu -net nic,model=ne2k_isa
> isa irq 9 already assigned

This is on Fedora 14 x86_64.

My question is: since ne2k_isa seems to be broken, what other
alternatives do I have?

I tried ne2k_pci, which seems to be working to some degree, but I don't
see any packets going out.

> Initialized console on port COM1 9600-8-N-1
>
> network device 'ne1' <12:34:56:78:90:AB> initialized on port 0x300, irq 5
> BOOTP timeout for server 255.255.255.255
> BOOTP call failed -- Connection timed out

Any advice appreciated.

Thanks,
Simon
