_init magic for c++ (on sparc64)

Can you please provide me with a hint where I can find this in the GCC sources?
 Tests with the ARM EABI tool chain showed that I need the array section
support in the linker command file and that I have to call the __libc_{init,
fini}_array() functions provided by Newlib.
