RTEMS Installation help on Ubuntu 11.10

You may want to try the Debian packages available here (with instructions):
    http://epics.nsls2.bnl.gov/debian/

The selection of toolchains and BSPs is limited, but what is available
works great on at least Ubuntu 10.04.
