problem in Milkymist BSP Ethernet driver

Hi !

We have an issue in the Milkymist BSP ethernet driver which gives us 
"Minimac RX FIFO overflow!" messages some times and freezes the board.

Looking at the code I found something weird, could you tell me what you 
think of the patch I just pushed ?

I think this just fixed a serious memory corruption issue, can you 
confirm that ?

It may not be the problem that triggers the "Minimac RX FIFO overflow!" 
but I think it surely was a big issue.
