Has anybody thought about writing a BSP for the Parrot?

Seems to me this would be an interesting demonstration platform.  Real demonstratable capability, at an affordable price.  Nothing demonstrates realtime processing like closed loop flight.  The onboard processor is running Linux and all the source code is released by the manufacturer.  They encourage hacking it.
