slightly off-topic: I2C programmers / analyzers

Hello,

  This message may be slightly off topic but this list is probably a
good place to contact people involved with embedded design/debug of
devices with I2C devices. 

 

  I would appreciate it if anyone with a favorite I2C programmer and/or
analyzer could send me an email with the name or a link to it.  

 

  I'm looking in the sub $500 USD range and I'm not finding much.
There's the low cost but get what you pay for devices like the Bus
Pirate and there's the high end Corellis CAS-1000-I2C/E but in between
I'm not finding much.  Perhaps my Google search isn't picking up the
correct key words...

 

  If there's enough response to warrant it I'll try to piece together
something that can go on the wiki and be found under "I2C Development /
Debug".
